This is the image for the news article titled Exporter BPA Students Qualify For NationalsBrazosport High School qualified four students to participate virtually at the Business Professionals of America Texas State Leadership Conference March 2-5. The students were outstanding and their hard work paid off as two of the four qualified for the national level competition. Jadyn Edwards qualified for Nationals in Ethics and Professionalism. Isaiah Cardenas qualified for Nationals in Fundamentals of Web Design. Giovanni Martinez is a national alternate in Computer Modeling. Our students also had the opportunity to participate in leadership Zoom sessions, officer elections, and the virtual special event of Texas BPA's Got Talent.

Amanda Thiede, focusing on the positive said, “We tried to make the most of this virtual conference and were lucky enough to have a few students qualify for nationals. This is also the first year I’ve had so many underclassmen, which is exciting. They are already talking about how to encourage more students to get involved next year and hopefully get to travel again.”

Nationals will be held virtually April 26-May 7. Congratulations to each of these awesome Exporters and their sponsor, Amanda Thiede!
