Texas College Bridge has been formed through a partnership between school districts across the state and institutes of higher education facilitated by the Texas Education Agency. This includes a user-friendly platform that provides individualized support to help 11th and 12th grade students strengthen their math and English skills prior to enrolling in college. Students receive additional college support to help them complete college transition milestones. They can also earn a TSI exemption at participating higher education institutions. These institutions include colleges such as the University of North Texas, Temple College, Texas Women’s, and our very own Brazosport College.

Brazosport ISD provides additional opportunities for students to prepare for college, including access to the TSI exam and free SAT testing for all juniors. This new partnership gives students an additional option to prepare for their future.

Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Assessment Brian Cole says that he is excited that the board of trustees chose to add this opportunity. “This is one more avenue for our students to demonstrate they are College, Career, and Military Ready.”
