Happy Thanksgiving. We have so much to be grateful for in Brazosport ISD. Thank you parents for your partnership to help keep our students and staff healthy. We have been in school for a full 3 months now. We are thankful for the dedication and commitment of our staff to serve our students in this most unusual year. We have received several inquiries regarding At School learning after Thanksgiving break. We plan to return to school after Thanksgiving break. Our active COVID cases have increased the last two weeks, but they are still low (46 active positive cases out of 13,300 students and staff) That is less than 1% at 0.34%.

We meet daily and review any new positive cases, recoveries, close contacts, determine the origin of the positive case if possible and any trends or patterns. We will continue to monitor diligently and make decisions as necessary to keep students and staff safe. Again our plans remain to serve At School learners on Monday, November 30th. Please continue to support our prevention and mitigation strategies of wearing masks, keeping as far apart as possible, keeping hands clean, and staying home if feeling ill. Below are links to our active cases and daily active case history. Thank you again for helping keep our students and staff safe and healthy. Happy Thanksgiving.
