The Brazoswood Academic UIL team attended their district competition Friday, March 25th and Saturday the 26th at Clear Creek High School.Congratulations to the following students and their coaches.
Avery White placed 2nd in Headline Writing, Copy Editing, and Editorial Writing advancing to Regionals as well as placing as an alternate for News Writing. Her coach is Lila Siegel.
Riley Kuhlman, Kevin Eldho, and Jareth Rodriguez came in as the first place team for Computer Science. Riley also placed first in the individual component of the test to advance. Their coach is Glenn Rankin.
Luiza Langner and Teresa Thomas came in 4th and 5th place in Spelling and Vocabulary to rank as alternates for regionals. They are coached by Vanessa Richardson.
Regional competitions will be held April 22nd and 23rd and we can’t wait to hear more great news! All of our students worked hard and did a great job!
