This is the image for the news article titled Brazoswood Cross-Country Team Makes StateFor the first time since 1986, the Brazoswood Buc Cross-Country Team will be running at the state meet the first weekend of November. Old Settlers Park in Round Rock, Texas will be the site of the state contest. Joining the boy's team at the state level will be sophomore Maya Funk who finished third in the Region to advance.

To move on from the regional contest and qualify for the prestigious state contest, a runner had to be on either one of the top 4 teams in the region or in the top 10 individually and not on one of those teams. The Brazoswood team finished third to qualify for state.

Running for the Buc’s team will be Riley Kuhlman, Charles Patton, Giovani Diaz, Diego Moya, Trevor Kuhlman, Mason McFeeters and Evan Andress.

Congratulations to Coach Michael Tummins and his amazing athletes for a great season and best wishes at State.
