Congratulations to AP Math teacher Linda Puckett from Brazosport High School, Biology teacher Lyndsey Gilbertson from Brazoswood High School, and Algebra teacher Justin Henry from Brazos Success Academy, who were selected as 2025 Science/Math Teacher Recognition Award recipients. Outstanding teachers are nominated by their campus administrators and are selected for their innovative instructional practices and proficiency in the fields of science and mathematics.

The annual luncheon and awards ceremony, hosted on February 11, 2025, at the Sweeny Community Center, provided a platform to celebrate these exceptional teachers, with each awardee receiving a $1,000 personal bonus check and certificate.

Superintendent Danny Massey commended these outstanding teachers and Phillips 66 stating, "Behind every equation solved and every theory explored, there is a teacher who ignites curiosity, fosters understanding, and shapes the minds of tomorrow. By honoring the hard work and enthusiasm of teachers, Phillips 66 underscores its commitment to highlighting STEM initiatives, inspiring the next generation of thinkers, creators, and problem-solvers.”
