On Saturday, February 8th, Brazosport ISD art students had a very successful Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE). Four Brazosport ISD artworks earned All-Area designations, and will advance to the State Event in April. Between the two high schools, art students earned an impressive 85 “Superior Ratings” on their competition level art. All High School Art teachers from Brazosport ISD had students participate in the Regional VASE event this year and every teacher had students earn Superior Ratings. Students participated in VASE under the direction of BISD Art Teachers: Emily Espeche, Deena Edwards, Connilee Lusk, Leanne Dry, and Nova Rollo.
