Bundick brings more than 28 years of experience in education, serving as an elementary teacher at TW Ogg, high school teacher at Brazosport High School, and school counselor at Brannen and Polk elementary schools, and most recently serving as assistant principal at Bess Brannen Elementary School.

In 2018, Bundick became the Assistant Principal of Brannen Elementary.  Amanda has helped lead Brannen to five TEA Academic Distinctions, earning all eligible distinctions for the third consecutive year in a row. Distinction designations are awarded for achievement based on performance relative to a group of campuses from across the state that are of similar type, size, grade span, and student demographics.

Ms. Bundick was named BISD Elementary Assistant Principal earlier this spring, was a three-time grant recipient from the BISD Education Foundation, and she established the first Lego League Jr. Robotics program with Dow Chemical for grades 1-4. Amanda serves as a member of the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association and is a member of the Association of School Counselors of America.

Amanda graduated from the University of Houston-Clear Lake with a Bachelor Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, with teaching certifications in grades 1-8 all subjects, 6-12 English/Language Arts, and grades 6-12 Dance. She then obtained her Masters of School Counseling from the University of Houston-Victoria and her Principal Certification from Lamar University.
