Brazosport ISD and Brazoswood High School are happy to announce that Coach Steve Hale will take the gym as the new Lady Bucs Basketball Coach. Hale brings over 25 years of coaching with him in public schools, Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) and private schools.
Coach Hale has extensive knowledge and experience with building a positive culture, vertically aligning middle school and high school programs, working with parents and community members, and mentoring staff and personnel. He has served as the head girls basketball coach at Corpus Christi King, Ingleside, Faith West Academy, Highland Avenue Christian School, and Castle Hills First Baptist School.
Coach Hale holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi and an MBA from Liberty University. Steve is happily married to Michelle who is currently the Principal at Aransas Pass High School. They are the proud parents of Stephen, a Public Information Officer for the city of Perris, CA, Morgan, the head girls basketball coach at Rockport-Fulton High School, and Colin, a recruiter for Aim 4 Hire in Austin, TX.
The Lady Bucs are excited to have Coach Hale as their new head coach, and look forward to building a great program under his leadership.
