Brazosport ISD is deeply saddened by the sudden loss of one of our precious students. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends and to all of our Brazoswood family. Our counselors, District Crisis Intervention Team, and other staff will be providing counseling services for the students and staff members impacted by this tragedy.
Should your student need any support during the school day, please reach out to their school counselor. We want to make sure every student receives the support and assistance he or she needs to cope with this loss. Please do not hesitate to seek our support. Together, we will help and care for one another as we move through this difficult time.
While our staff works to help support our students, we encourage parents to also provide support to your child as you see appropriate. You know your child best, so please consider talking about this together. This is an opportunity to explain how your family understands and copes with loss. You may also want to discuss with your student how to be a supportive friend to their classmates.
