This is the image for the news article titled Brazoswood Water Polo Teams Continue Success this FallFor the first time in UIL history, water polo is on the list of competition sports; and for the first year in UIL history, both Brazoswood water polo teams are still in the quest for that state title.

Both girls and boys teams were District 12-6A Champions this year qualifying them for the playoffs and a possible state championship.

The girls team defeated Clear Falls in Bi-District, they defeated Sterling in Area, and won the Regional Quarterfinal game against Clear Creek. They will play Bridgeland in the Regional Semi-Finals on October 22nd at Lamar HS Natatorium and hopefully in the Regional Finals game to advance to the state tournament.

The boys team defeated Clear Falls in Bi-District, then defeated North Shore in Area, and won the Regional Quarterfinal game against Clear Creek. They will play Strake Jesuit in the first game of the Regional Tournament and hopefully get a win in the Regional Finals to advance to the state tournament.

Best wishes to Coach Robert Brown, Assistant Coach Kiel Haner and both teams!
