Wendi Holland, AP Beutel Elementary
We begin by celebrating Mrs. Wendi Holland, a dedicated 1st grade teacher at Beutel Elementary. In her co-teach classroom, Mrs. Holland goes above and beyond each day to ensure every student feels seen, supported, and capable of success. Through her patience, compassion, and unwavering commitment, she meets students where they are and celebrates every milestone along the way. As a passionate advocate for her learners, she creates a nurturing environment where students thrive academically while also growing in confidence and independence. Mrs. Holland’s work lays a strong foundation that will impact her students for years to come.
Sara Evans, BISD Transition Center
We also proudly recognize Sara Evans, who serves in special education and leads the Brazosport ISD Transition Center. Sara is a collaborative leader who works tirelessly to expand opportunities for her students. By partnering with special education staff, the Project Search program, and local job sites, she provides meaningful, real-world learning experiences that equip students with essential vocational and independent living skills. With a focus on preparing students for life beyond the classroom, Sara meets each learner where they are and empowers them to grow with confidence. Her ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, families, and the community reflects her deep commitment to student success. Sara truly embodies what it means to be Mission First, Team Always.
