Several Brazoswood High School students competed at the Texas State Thespian Festival in Corpus Christi over the weekend (November 15, 2025), including two who earned the honor of advancing to the International Thespian Festival in the Solo Musical Thespy category.
Marley Crawford and Kenna Weatherly impressed judges with their outstanding performances, securing their spots to compete at Nationals June 21-26 at the University of Indiana in Bloomington, Indiana.
Brazoswood Theatre, under the direction of Head Director Katie LeFave and Technical Director Rachel Brooks, continues to encourage and develop talent while providing students opportunities to excel in the performing arts.
“We are so proud of all of our students who competed at the Texas State Thespian Festival,” said Theatre Arts teacher Katie LeFave. “We are especially excited to watch Marley and Kenna continue their journey at the National Thespian Festival in the Solo Musical category.”
The International Thespian Festival gives high school performers the opportunity to collaborate with peers, attend workshops, and perform before professional adjudicators. We look forward to cheering on these talented students as they represent their school and district on a national stage.
