Brazosport ISD, alongside industrial partners, launched the BISD CTE Major Giving Grant Awards with a series of exciting and unexpected celebrations. Educators across the district were surprised with grant funding totalling $57,282 to enhance their programs.
A special grant patrol, featuring district administrators, community partners, and industry leaders, traveled by bus to multiple campuses, delivering the news in person to deserving teachers. Adding to the excitement, student drumline and cheer groups joined the convoy to lead the celebrations, creating a high-energy atmosphere as they delivered the exciting news.
“These grants are truly transformative, providing students with next-level tools and hands-on experiences that align with industry standards,” said Bridgette Percle, BISD’s CTE Director. “Thanks to our industry partners, we can continue equipping our classrooms with resources that prepare students for high-demand careers.”
The district’s CTE Major Giving Campaign is made possible through the generous support of local industries. BISD extends its deepest gratitude to Freeport LNG, Dow Chemical, BASF, Marquis Industrial Services, Contech & Ferguson Industrial, Apache Industrial Services, KCG Industrial, Top Coat Fabrication, Wood, Millennium Industrial, Southern Gulf, and Spectrum Camera Solutions for their investment in the future of our students. Their contributions empower educators and equip classrooms with cutting-edge tools, fostering industry-aligned learning experiences.
