Brazosport ISD is proud to announce that five campuses—Brazosport High School, Brazoswood High School, Brazoswood Ninth Grade Center, Clute Intermediate, and Rasco Middle School—have been named Capturing Kids’ Hearts® National Showcase Schools for this school year. Each campus received surprise announcements from The Flippen Group in recognition of their commitment to building strong relationships and fostering safe, supportive learning environments.
This national distinction honors campuses that consistently implement the Capturing Kids’ Hearts® processes with fidelity and create a culture where students feel valued, connected, and empowered to succeed. The recognition reflects the intentional work happening across BISD to prioritize meaningful relationships as the foundation for student success.
Superintendent Danny Massey praised the campuses for their dedication to students and one another. “This national recognition underscores the power of strong relationships in education,” he said. “Our staff continue to lead with heart, creating environments where students feel safe, supported, and motivated to reach their full potential.”
The Flippen Group evaluates campuses through a rigorous process that includes implementation data and evidence of growth in key areas such as attendance, student behavior, academic performance, and overall school culture. Site visits, stakeholder interviews, and climate surveys are also part of the selection process.
