Each year choir students from across Texas audition for a spot in the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-State choir. There are four rounds of auditions, with the first being for All-District.
The Brazoswood HS Choir program is under the direction of Mr. Chris Hutchison, who assumed this role after previously serving as the district’s Director of Fine Arts. Mr. Hutchison brings his years of experience and leadership to the Brazoswood HS Choir program.
On Saturday, September 20, 2025, 12 Brazoswood Choir students competed for spots in the prestigious All-District Choir. All participants represented Brazoswood HS and the district well, with five students advancing to the All-Region competition. Students include:
- Bailey Harris
- Josh Rios
- Kalleigh McGaughey
- Zoey Garcia
- Alice Mayes
These students will compete on October 25, 2025 for a chance to be named to the All-Region Choir. Top regional finishers in each voicing will also earn the opportunity to advance to the Pre-Area round.
