The impact of Owen Dickson’s leadership in Career and Technical Education has earned him recognition as the Gulf Coast Area 6 nominee for Administrator of the Year by the Career and Technical Association of Texas (CTAT). The nomination reflects his commitment to strengthening CTE programs across the district and expanding opportunities for students. Through his work, BISD students gain meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that prepare them for success in college, careers, and beyond.
As the Area 6 nominee, Dickson will advance to the state level, representing the Gulf Coast region among 12 top CTE leaders from across Texas. His nomination will be submitted on May 1.
