Brazosport ISD has named Elizabeth Alexander-Gant as its new Executive Director for the BISD Education Foundation. She brings experience in nonprofit leadership, community engagement, strategic planning, fundraising, public relations and organizational management, along with a passion for building partnerships that support students and strengthen communities.
Most recently, Alexander-Gant served as Chief Executive Officer of the West Columbia Chamber of Commerce, where she led strategic planning, community engagement initiatives and organizational operations. She coordinated community events, sponsorship opportunities and fundraising partnerships while working closely with local businesses, nonprofit organizations, educators and community leaders to support regional growth.
Alexander-Gant earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Baylor University and recently completed a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from Louisiana State University Shreveport.
As Executive Director of the Brazosport ISD Education Foundation, Alexander-Gant will work alongside the Foundation Board of Directors, district leadership, business partners and community members to expand support for innovative classroom grants, student programs and initiatives that enrich learning opportunities throughout Brazosport ISD.
