Brazosport ISD recently celebrated the achievements of its health science students during the annual Health Science Signing Day. The event, held on May 16, 2025, recognized students who have successfully secured employment with healthcare providers and are taking the next step toward careers in the medical field.
Family members, healthcare partners, and staff gathered to honor the students’ accomplishments and witness this important milestone. As part of the signing ceremony, each student was introduced along with a representative from their future employer. Together, they took part in a symbolic signing and group photo to mark the beginning of their professional journeys. Following the signing, guests were invited to stay for the HOSA Induction Ceremony and the Pinning and Awards Ceremony, which highlighted the broader accomplishments of students within the Brazoswood Health Science program.

- Lupita Gonzalez – UTMB
- Avriana Nunley – UTMB
- Abbigayl Wierzbicki – UTMB
- Danielle Winkler – UTMB
These partnerships reflect the strong connection between Brazosport ISD’s Career and Technical Education programs and the healthcare industry. District leaders and healthcare partners expressed their excitement and appreciation for the opportunity to connect with such dedicated and workforce-ready students.
“We are proud to support programs that provide real-world pathways for our students,” said Superintendent Danny Massey. “These students are not only graduating with a diploma, they are leaving high school with a clear direction and a head start on a meaningful career in healthcare.”
CTE Director Bridgette Percle added, “Health Science Signing Day is a powerful reminder of what is possible when education and industry come together. These students have worked hard, and we are proud to celebrate their success and the bright futures that lie ahead.”
