Brazosport ISD will be closed for a Student & Staff Holiday on Monday, January 19, in honor of Dr. King.
Declared a national holiday in 1983, Martin Luther King Jr Day is celebrated on the third Monday in January, always on or near the date of his birth, January 15.
Students will return to class on Tuesday, January 20.
