National School Counseling Week Feb. 2-6

February 2–6 marks National School Counseling Week, a time dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the more than 100,000 school counselors across the nation for their vital role in supporting student success and future planning.
The 2026 theme, “School Counselors Amplify Student Success,” highlights the meaningful impact school counselors have in helping students achieve academic goals, develop social and emotional skills, and prepare for life beyond the classroom.
Allison Jasso, Director of Guidance & Counseling, shared, “School counselors are essential to student success, providing guidance and support that foster academic growth, emotional well-being, and personal development. During National School Counseling Week, we recognize their impactful work and thank them for their continued dedication to empowering our students and strengthening our school communities.”
The district encourages students, families, and staff to take a moment this week to thank our school counselors for their dedication and service. We are deeply grateful for the vital role they play in supporting our students, staff, and greater school community.
