“We are proud to see these outstanding teachers recognized for the difference they make for our students,” said Danny Massey, BISD Superintendent of Schools. “Through meaningful connections and high-quality learning experiences, they inspire curiosity, build confidence, and help ensure our students are prepared for whatever path they choose. We are grateful to Phillips 66 for recognizing the impact they make every day.”
Each honoree was selected for their dedication to student success, innovative instruction, and commitment to inspiring curiosity and confidence in science and mathematics. Their work reflects BISD’s belief that meaningful connections and high-quality learning experiences empower students to discover purpose and pursue opportunity.
The recognition ceremony was held February 20, 2026, at the Sweeny Community Center, where recipients received a certificate and a $1,000 personal award.
Through this ongoing initiative, Phillips 66 continues to strengthen STEM learning across the region by recognizing educators who influence and inspire the next generation.
