On Saturday, April 26, two talented Brazosport ISD high school art students competed at the 2025 State Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE) Competition. Their artworks were among only 74 selected pieces from our region to advance to the state level.
Brazosport High School Senior Jazmin Brooks, under the guidance of Deena Edwards, earned an All-State Rating for her outstanding sculpture. Meanwhile, Brazoswood High School Senior Iris Raymond, under the mentorship of Emily Espeche, earned an All-Area Rating for her exceptional drawing.
