September is National Suicide Prevention Month. This is a time to raise awareness with the goal being to shift perception, spread hope, and share vital information to others related to the topic of suicide. We want to ensure that individuals, parents, friends, and families have access to the resources they need to discuss suicide prevention and to seek help if needed.
Our Brazosport High School and Brazoswood High School Licensed Professional Counselors have put together the first video in our Counseling Corner Video Series on the topic of Suicide Prevention. We hope that you will take the time to watch and gain knowledge on how to recognize the signs of suicide, as well as how to have a conversation about suicide with others.
