Brazosport Independent School District hosted its 10th year of the BISD Community Ambassadors (Leadership) Teams this school year. Each group has been given an in-depth look at our district and its operations because in BISD “We BELIEVE that collaborative partnerships are vital to strengthening the learning experience.”
Each ambassador has the opportunity to engage in well-planned and wisely timed sessions by attending four, 2-and-a-half-hour sessions, that are held at various locations throughout the district. Each session provides participants with fun, real-world experiences related to BISD and its operations.
This year, ambassadors met at the District Administration Building, at Brazoswood’s Field House, at T.W. Ogg Elementary School’s Wet Lab as well as at Brazoswood's new and ever-expanding Career and Technical Education Building. Many unique experiences were provided by staff AND students throughout the four sessions. BISD Community Ambassadors become trusted messengers who share their ambassador experiences and information about the many unique and rich programs offered to students throughout the district.
