This is the image for the news article titled Superintendent Massey Named as an Inspiring Leader by Texas Assoc of School AdministratorsBrazosport ISD Superintendent Danny Massey was featured as an Inspiring Leader by the Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA). Founded in 1925, TASA is the professional association for Texas school superintendents and other administrators. TASA Inspiring Leaders seeks to go past the recognition to describe the “outstanding school leaders who inspire others as they work to prepare future-ready students.” BISD Superintendent Massey certainly meets and exceeds that criterion.

Nominated for the recognition by BISD Assistant Superintendent of Compliance and Data Quality Ron Redden, Massey’s inspirational leadership is highlighted in the TASA Professional Fall 2020 Insight Journal. Redden and BISD Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction Brian Cole underscored in the article the successes that Brazosport ISD has achieved in the past five years, under Superintendent Massey. BISD has dramatically improved student performance from a TEA accountability rating of a 74 to an 88, and all three BISD high schools have also earned an A rating in College, Career and Military Readiness.

BISD is very proud of our superintendent, Danny Massey, and we applaud him for his leadership and unmatched commitment to the students, staff and community of Brazosport.
