For the 2022 Spring Semester, the Instruction and Professional Learning Department will be recognizing teachers across BISD with the Essential Educator Spotlight Award. We would like to congratulate our first recipient, Ms. Yamillete Sherrill from Lake Jackson Intermediate School. Ms. Sherrill was nominated by LJI's Leadership Team for her strong instructional practices in the classroom, engaging classroom presence and positive relationships with her students.
