New Hires

Welcome to the Brazosport ISD New Hire Page. The information provided below is for those who have been recommended for a professional or paraprofessional position with the district. We hope to make the hiring process as easy as possible for you and our team.

PROFESSIONAL NEW HIRE

New Hire Paperwork Completion
As a new hire to the district, you will receive an email with an invitation to use our platform, Frontline Central, where you will be asked to complete new hire paperwork. Keep an eye on your inbox for the Frontline platform invite and don't forget to check your spam folder. Once you receive your invitation, create a new account (separate from your applicant account) using the link in the invitation email. This will need to be completed prior to your scheduled meeting with Human Resources.  You will receive additional forms to complete in ink during your meeting. In order for Brazosport ISD to complete the I-9 Form in your packet, you will need to bring original official identity document(s) noted on the Lists of Acceptable Documents on page 9 of the I-9 form. See this list for acceptable forms of I-9 documentation.  Brazosport ISD must examine the original document(s) and record the information on the I-9 form at your scheduled onboarding meeting.

Service Records & Transcripts
If you are transferring from another district, please contact your previous district and request for your service records to be sent to Brazosport ISD. We ask that you do this in a timely manner so that we can verify your experience and update your salary with the correct step and correlating compensation.  Transcripts are also required and must be requested in a timely manner. We do accept both forms of records in email format; however, they must be sent directly from your institution or previous district. If you provide us with paper transcripts or service records, they must come in original format and transcripts must be in a sealed envelope from your institution.  You may mail these documents to our address at: P.O. Drawer Z, Freeport, TX  77542. For electronic delivery of these documents, send to [email protected].

PARAPROFESSIONAL NEW HIRE

As a new hire to the district, you will receive an email with an invitation to use our platform, Frontline Central, where you will be asked to complete new hire paperwork.    Keep an eye on your inbox for the Frontline platform invite and don't forget to check your spam folder. If you have previous experience in an accredited public or private school, an original official service record will be required. It is your responsibility to contact your previous district(s) to obtain an official service record.
