Thousands of grateful organizations across our Nation celebrate the dedicated service of volunteers on this National Volunteer Appreciation Week April 17-23, 2022. Campuses throughout Brazosport ISD will join in to recognize our inspiring volunteers who give of their time, talents and heart.
Many individuals and groups come on our campuses weekly to help with volunteer projects, special events, teacher aid, student learning support and mentoring. Our campuses enjoy the assistance of Parent/Teacher Organizations (PTO’s), Watch D.O.G.S, PALS, Loving BISD, Servolution, Corporate Sponsors, Booster Club Members, Reading Heroes, and LIFT UP Mentors to name a few.
The White House proclamation for National Volunteer Week, 2022 states, “We recognize the contributions that our Nation’s volunteers make every day and encourage all Americans to discover their path to making a difference.” It calls on all Americans to pledge to make service a part of their daily lives.
Our Brazosport community exemplifies that spirit of service that is evident on a daily basis and is making a difference for our student’s education and future success.
