Brazosport Sophomore Nevaeh Ramirez recently received a national award from the Walsworth Yearbook Photo Contest.This year the competition received their largest number of entries to date with more that 7,600 photos.
The Walsworth photo contest was judged by a panel of expert judges and photos were selected based on the quality of photo, appropriateness to category, photography rules followed and creativity demonstrated. Students from all around the country competed for cash prizes and recognition and this was her first time entering the contest getting an Honorable Mention for her bonfire silhouette photo.
Neveah captured this silhouette of some of the seniors gathered around the bonfire, as they watched their senior boards being taken over by the flames. She took over one hundred photos from the event that evening and ended up with this amazing shot.
