Jostens has announced that Brazoswood High School’s Rita Pintavalle has been inducted into the Jostens Renaissance Hall of Fame, a prestigious recognition given to outstanding educators who have made a significant impact in their schools and communities. Jostens recognizes the successes and achievements of the nation’s finest educators. The selection process for this award involves a thorough review of data and documentation, as well as recommendations that support and validate all winners.

Pintavalle, who has been serving as the principal of Brazoswood High School for eight years, was selected for her dedication to creating a positive and engaging school culture that fosters student success. Under her leadership, the school has implemented various programs that promote academic excellence, character development, and student involvement. Under Jostens Renaissance, Pintavalle has led Brazoswood High School to earn National Awards -a Platinum School in 2022, Teacher of the Month 2020 & 2022 (Stephanie Jess); Student of the Month 2023 (Gracie Price); Capturing Kids Hearts National Showcase 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022.

Pintavalle and her staff have presented the story of Brazoswood’s Campus Culture Change at conferences the last several years. The following is a list of some of the topics they presented.

The Jostens Renaissance program, which was founded in 1988, aims to transform school culture and inspire students to reach their full potential. The Hall of Fame is a recognition of educators who have gone above and beyond in their efforts to support student growth and achievement.

Pintavalle expressed her gratitude for the recognition, saying that it was a testament to the hard work of the entire school community. "I am honored to receive this award on behalf of Brazoswood High School," she said. "It is a reflection of the commitment and dedication of our teachers, staff, students, and families to create a positive and supportive learning environment."

Pintavalle has been honored by several organizations  for her leadership. These honors inmclude:
