“I have had so many wonderful teachers  since I moved to Freeport. Mr. Day, Ms. Day, Coach Schulte, Ms. Puckett, and a lot of other teachers all made my life better. My life has been rough and school has been challenging. I had to ask a lot of questions and all those teachers that I had helped me and kept answering my questions until I fully understood. They also helped me in my life, even though they didn't have to and that filled in some colors into my life.”

“As a teacher, Mr. Mcleod made the biggest difference in my life. He introduced me to aerospace engineering and has had me hooked ever since. My career aspirations were inspired by what he has taught and the way he teaches it. He has also encouraged me to take a course that hadn’t been taken by a kid at Brazosport and I think it will help me tremendously for my future as an engineer.”

Salutatorian: Simone Elizabeth Marshall

“It's really impossible to name just one teacher that influenced me the most. I've had so many fantastic teachers that have made a huge impact on my life, so I can't choose just one. I will say that my favorite class was band. Band gave me a network of people to connect with even before entering high school, an effective stress reliever, a way to share my music with others, an opportunity to lead my peers, and so much more.”
