The Principal of Brazoswood High School, Rita Pintavalle, announced today that four students have been named Commended Students in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program. Congratulations Hans Aggerwal, Julia Braun, Neha Krishnan, and Julia Raess!
A Letter of Commendation from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC), which conducts the program, has been presented to these scholastically talented seniors who had a National selection Index score above 209.
About 34,000 commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise. Commended Students placed among the top 5% of more than 1.6 million students who entered the 2021 competition by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
The young men and women being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success. We are extremely proud of them as Buccaneers.
