BISD is proposing a tax rate of $1.1787 for the 2021-2022 fiscal year. This is a reduction of $0.003 from the 2020 tax rate. 

This year's tax levy to fund maintenance and operations expenditures does not exceed last year's maintenance and operations tax levy.

The proposed rate will go before the BISD Board of Trustees during a Special Called meeting to be held on Monday, August 30, 2021.
