Beginning this school year, Brazosport ISD will have new guidelines and regulations for professional and amatuer photographers and videographers at BISD sporting events, including all fields, gyms, courts and facilities. All photographers and videographers (student and adult) must obtain clearance through the Athletic Office from the Director of Athletics prior to taking photos or videotaping from the sidelines of any athletic contest. Photographers requesting sideline passes for any sport must fill out the proper background check,
yearly. They must also complete the necessary non-profit paperwork, request a pass from the athletic office, and pick up the pass before the game(s). Passes may be picked up at the ticket office at Hopper field during football season or during the week at the athletic office located at the new Brazoswood field house next to the Brazoswood campus.

All professional and amatuer photographers and videographers must complete the requirements as detailed in the regulations to be granted permission to photograph or video at a BISD sporting event. Other specific restrictions and/or regulations for each sporting venue will be provided by the athletic office once clearance has been granted. Failure to comply with the regulations will result in forfeiture of the sideline pass.
Rules for the 2021 football season are as follows:
Photographers are limited to 6 yards behind the endzones, outside the 10 yard lines (team area is 15 yard line to 15 yard line) and behind the last line (three yards off sideline).
In moving from north side to south side and back, photographers must move closest to the stands, farthest from the benches. NO PICTURES WILL BE ALLOWED BEHIND THE BENCH AREA.
