Brazosport ISD is excited to announce the selection of Coach Jay Zeller to the position of Athletic Director.
Zeller is currently the Athletic Director at Waco Robinson ISD. He has previous experiences as an Assistant Athletic Director in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD. He also served in the United States Air Force.
“Mr. Zeller has extensive experience overseeing a variety of athletic programs and his proven ability as a leader make him an excellent fit for our Athletic Director position. His core values align perfectly with the mission of BISD athletics being a tool for character development, leadership skills, and life lessons.” Superintendent Danny Massey stated.
Jay Zeller earned his Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Texas at Tyler and his Master’s degree in Education Administration from Lamar University. He has administrator experience in Grapevine-Colleyville, along with coaching experiences in Mansfield, Jacksonville, Kennedale, and Lampasas.
Jay and his wife Rachelle have three adult children and three grandchildren. The Zellers will make the move to Brazosport later this spring.
