The Department of Instruction and Professional Learning would like to congratulate our next Essential Educator Spotlight Award recipient, Ms. Katie Kilburn, ELA teacher at Brazosport High School! Ms. Kilburn was nominated for her strong approach in using data to drive instruction in the classroom, for being a PLC leader on campus, as well as her willingness to learn and try new instructional strategies to benefit her students.
