Texas public schools plant seeds for success from pre-kindergarten to high school each and every day! BISD schools are growing and thriving, producing the greatest resources in the state of Texas -successful students.

We invite you to help us honor the teachers, administrators, parents, staff and volunteers that help our students grow during Texas Public Schools Week February 27 - March 3, 2023. A great way to show your support is to share out all of the great things happening in our schools each day. Visit our website, Facebook and Twitter page (tag posts with #BISDpride and #HerefortheKids), and get involved through community and district events posted on district and campus calendars or on the Peachjar eFlyer page located on each campus website.

There are so many ways you can make an impact:
⭐Share your school success story on social media
⭐Thank your child’s teacher or other campus staff member
⭐Serve on a school or district committee
⭐Volunteer to be a BISD Mentor

Texas Public Schools Week was established in 1950 to recognize the contributions made by the state’s free system of education. Behind every successful student is a crowd of supporters –parents, families, teachers, community leaders and business owners- offering him or her encouragement to succeed and accomplish educational goals. Today’s students will one day determine the direction of our communities, our state and our nation. A strong and successful public education system is a priority for everyone.
