Minnie Tran is truly accomplished. Graduating as valedictorian of Brazoswood High School, she has consistently demonstrated a remarkable level of dedication and commitment to her studies. She has achieved excellent grades in all of her courses and has taken on challenging extracurricular activities as well. She is a natural leader and holds leadership positions in many organizations, including the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Science National Honor Society, Student Council, Science Olympiad, and Varsity Aquatics Team. Her involvement demonstrates excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Additionally, Minnie has been recognized for her achievements with multiple accolades. Her artwork has won Best of Class (3x) and auctioned at Brazoria Country Fair, as well as Best of Show and auctioned at Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. She is also a three-time Gold Medal Winner for the Visual Arts Scholastic Event and Silver Key Winner for the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.

As an athlete, she holds numerous swimming records and was named as the 2018 Texas Amateur Athletic Federation Female Athlete of the Year. This past year, she led her water polo team to finish as runner-ups in the UIL State Water Polo Girls Championships.

This summer, Minnie will conduct cancer research with MD Anderson Cancer Center in pursuit of a career as a physician. We are so proud of Minnie and are excited to see what her future holds!
