Earning 8 Gold, 4 Silver, and a Best of Category Medal

Brazosport Independent School District has once again showcased excellence in educational communications by earning 13 state awards at the Texas School Public Relations Association (TSPRA) annual conference held in late February. Among these accolades are eight prestigious Gold Star Awards, four Silver Star Awards, and the coveted Best of Category Medal.

This year's submissions were judged on a set of rigorous criteria across forty-seven categories of competition, covering various forms of media such as newsletters, programs, posters, reports, writing, image/identity packages, photography, graphics, video, electronic presentations, campaigns, events, and web sites. The winners were selected from an impressive record of over 1,800 entries produced during the previous school year.

The district was honored with the following awards:

Best of Category Award (Medal)

Gold Star Awards

Silver Star Awards

The BISD Communications team works collaboratively with our campuses and departments in sharing events and the amazing things our students and staff accomplish daily. The team is made up of four members: Karla Christman, Tami Sophia, Amber Casey, and Sharon Ritchie. Their achievements are just another example of how Brazosport Independent School District excels locally, regionally, and across the state, setting the standard for educational excellence.
