BISD Education Foundation Awards Nearly $100,000 in Grants to Enhance Education Across Seven Campuses

The grants were awarded as part of the foundation's ongoing dedication to enhancing educational opportunities for students and backing innovative projects within the district.

This week's grant recipients were met with excitement and celebration as the entire campus community came together to surprise them with the news. Drumlines, belles, cheerleaders, as well as representatives from the foundation and district, joined forces to announce the winnings.

"Our mission within the BISD Education Foundation is to generate and award resources to Brazosport ISD staff to enrich, maintain, and expand programs needed to meet the District's stated mission of excellence in education," said Executive Director, Jessie Jennings. "We are thrilled to see this mission come to life through the allocation of these grants, which will undoubtedly make a significant impact on our students' learning experiences."

The grants will support a variety of initiatives aimed at enhancing educational opportunities and promoting excellence across the district. From innovative classroom projects to extracurricular programs, each grant is designed to empower educators and inspire students to reach their full potential.

"We are so grateful to the Brazosport ISD Education Foundation and all of the donors for their continued support and dedication to our students and staff," said BISD Superintendent Danny Massey. These grants enable us to implement exciting new ideas and provide our students with the resources they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom."
