“Despite lack of support from the Texas legislature, BISD believes that it must move forward with districtwide compensation for the future of recruiting and retaining the very best educators so that we continue to ensure the success of our students as they receive the highest quality education possible. Our students deserve the very best, and we will continually strive to provide highly effective educators for every campus!” stated Superintendent Danny Massey.

BISD and the Board of Trustees value the contributions of each and every employee in the district and the role that they play in the overall success of each student. We appreciate the daily dedication and commitment that each BISD employee exhibits that allows our district to continue to set the standard in educational excellence!

BISD employees will receive the approved salary increase and retroactive compensation, based on their 2023-24 assignment date on the November 3, 2023 paycheck and will be able to view their updated salaries in the Employee Service Center on November 3, 2023.
