Brazoswood High School student Gannon Blank was featured on the Great Day Houston Channel 11 morning show in front of a live studio audience highlighting the Catalyst Program. Catalyst is a dual credit partnership program between Brazosport ISD, Angleton ISD, Columbia-Brazoria ISD, Sweeny ISD and Brazosport College, which assists in addressing industry’s workforce needs for high demand skilled workers. Catalyst gives qualifying students the opportunity to complete their associates degree in Process Technology or Instrumentation Technology one year after high school graduation; or an applied baccalaureate degree in Industrial Management within three years following high school graduation at no cost to the student.
Gannon is one of 16 Brazosport ISD students enrolled in the Catalyst program this school year.
