Brazos Success Academy (BSA) is a school of choice that has seen tremendous success in helping students graduate in a non-traditional setting.

Mr. Brown was both a coach and a teacher in Pearland ISD before joining the BISD team in 2017 as an assistant principal at Brazosport High School. Over the past several years he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to the success of all students, and a particular passion for working with at-risk youth.

As the Principal at BSA, he will now bring that dedication and energy to a campus that students attend either as a school of choice seeking a personalized environment, or when they are at high risk of not graduating. Mr. Brown says,”I am most excited about giving the students attending BSA the opportunity to chase their dreams through education, and become trendsetters in their own right.”

In the 2019-2020 school year, 90 students graduated from Brazos Success Academy as a result of their innovative practices. The Superintendent of BISD, Danny Massey, says that he cannot be more proud of Mr. Brown for emerging as the top candidate from a very competitive selection process, and is confident that Mr. Brown will continue to provide innovative opportunities for students.
