The Department of Instruction and Professional Learning would like to congratulate our next recipient of the Essential Educator Spotlight! Congratulations to Troy Day at Brazosport High School! Mr. Day enjoys providing science labs for his students, giving them practice and the ability to see science in action, and wanted to continue this method with both At Home and At School learners this school year. Using Google Meets, Mr. Day pairs At School students completing the lab in person with At Home students viewing the process. Students then collaboratively complete lab reports and state their findings. What a great way to include our At Home learners in the lab environment and increase student engagement!
